I like to wear sunglasses to cut glare and for eye protection with my sloppy cast. Problem is I can't see at dusk or dawns grey, gloomy light conditions. Is there a certain shade of lens, yellow, amber, clear that works best in gloomy light?

Yellow or bright amber is what I use in low light conditions. Also improves contrast in fog.

I used to shoot indoor .22 pistol and mine and most other's shooting glasses were yellow. Truckers and other knowledgeable night riders also use yellow to cut glare in low light and enhance night vision ability.

I have costa's with the yellow lens and they work great in low light conditions. I love mine.
