Anyone know where I can find Gluv-it or Coat-it in the Mt. Vernon or Bellingham area? Also interested if anyone has any other products they like for coating the bottom of their drift boat. I have an aluminum Willie (I'll leave the jokes for others). Thanks! :thumb:
Good gawd! With your monniker, you are making yourself an easy target!:clown: My friend Fearless uses Gluvit on his Willie. These days, its always wise to gluv yer willie!
first you need to figure out what is on your boat now. Coat it wont adhere to gluvit.
so you will need to completely remove the gluvit if you want to use coat it.
Yup, I've heard that and stripped off all the Gluvit that was on there. So I am starting with a clean slate.
I have read many an opinion about which is better (Gluvit vs Coat-it) and am still a bit unsure which to use, but I would like to try and get it locally to avoid rather sizable shipping charges. So I'll probably go with what is available and least expensive.
(yes, I know now it is a stripped willie...)
