Here is my SBS on tying up Enrico Puglisi's Peanut Butter. This fly represents baitfish (duh) and can be tailored to any colors, shape, and sizes that you need to imitate your local baitfish. Hook size can also be varied depending on if you are off-shore or on an inland lake. This pattern is proven on Tarpon, Stripers, Tuna, Snook, Bass, Trout, and a multitude of other predatory fish. Here is our finished product in two tone colors. Certainly this pattern could even be done with 3 or even 4 tones. So let's get started. Here is our hook in the vice. This is a Gamakatsu #2 Octopus Circle Hook. Tie in a small red tag at the bend of the hook using mono thread. This could be EP Fibers or as I am using here, poly. This will be your gills. Trim the tag so that it extends just past the hook. Tie in 4 or so strands of flashabou and double them over. This will form your lateral line.
