    These have worked on the grannom hatch at home; it'll be interesting to see how they play out west. May make a few color adjustments

    Nice ties! I like those dark bodies for Mother's Day caddis. I'm going to use black CDC for the CDC and Elk patterns, though a dark X-caddis can't be beat.

    Anybody tie a mating caddis pattern (Pat Lat, where are you)? I hit the hatch perfectly on the Yellowstone a few years back and every fly on shore was happily joined. On windy days, I suspect some would be blown onto the water?
