I like the black red and white combo
Awesome fly Steve. I think Black is underutilized in Puget Sound. I like the use of different materials. I look forward to fishing this this spring.
Thanks guys, the eye is just attached with Zap-A-Gap. I've done some extensive casting with this pattern in other colors and the eye's have stayed on pretty well. I use a good amount of it and the eye adheres to the separate strands of body material.
Kelvin, I was in Patricks's the other day and saw a couple squid patterns on the desk that looked distinctly 'Kelvinesque', were they yours?

lol i think you were seein some of the white from the keyboard in the pic, its just black and red. funny thing is there actually is a black with red/white one just a few inches outta frame.

Stolen ideas, classic colour pairings,etc. The blue collar is key
Sea going critters. This style/idea/whatevs... can be tied small for sea runs, to as large and bulky as you'd like.
