Want to help us out with a TV shoot? We’re hosting a party at Puget Sound Fly Company for Recycled Fish and the “Fishing 50 States in 50 Days” crew. Teeg Stouffer (Executive Director of Recycled Fish) and Marcia Rubin (professional lady bass angler) are traveling the country next year promoting stewardship of our fisheries and environment for a television production. They’re shooting the pilot in Washington, Oregon and California in a couple of weeks. Part of their deal is that cameras will be rolling the whole time, and they go to different fly shops and tackle stores along the way for little “adventure parties,” so we’re hosting one for the pilot shoot. It’s going to be a pretty great time, and we need the shop packed for the camera. Plus, you’ll get to be in the show! Redwood Creek wines is going to do a free wine tasting, so that should be fun for everybody. Anil is going to tie up the Shock and Awe, and Roger Stephens will tie and give away a few of his floating sand lance patterns. We’ll have some door prizes and silent auction stuff going on to help support their cause. There will be a little live music, and it will be a generally good time gathering with friends. It’s asking a lot – a free drink after work, prizes, and being a part of a conservation production to help protect our fisheries – but we think you’re up to it! 5PM – 7PM on Wednesday, October 22nd. Let us know if you’re going to be here.
