I've got a bunch of variations of egg cluster sucking leeches. This is like the clear/low water special, dark color, small. It's tied on a size 4 streamer hook. No weight as I'm not sure how far down all that hot glue is going to pull it.

Matt, good looking fly. Do you tie any up in the standard purple bunny pink egg combo? I'd like to get turned on to one of those.

Either a hair-wing Blue Doctor or a variation of the Laxa Blue, a simple sparse pattern, riffle hitched or sunk depending upon specific conditions.

Bob I was born ready for summer steelies, not like you that has to talk about it for days to get ready. I've allready tried half a dozen new lines out, oh yea and new rods out. The big problem is which combo DRY/SINK TIP line i guess water condition will til that. Or do you know that BOB!

    My tips for summer runs

    1. Do it, just don't say that your going to do it (BOB)
    2. Do it again!
    3. Enjoy it! (BOB)

I'm tying them up in all kinds of bunny colors. Really need to get the egg cluster part down because I hate sloppy work. It's hard gluing a bunch of hot glue together. Never done anything like this before.

I have decided that when the 1st of June rolls around that I will take up my 5wt and go hit a small stream. You'd be suprised to what you can catch out of very skinny water. But if it rains like they are talking about I'll probably just stay home. I seem to be getting lazier as I get older.

Where do I get one of those 13 footers and how does it cast a Skagit line?
