Just got back from a few days on the Deschutes, weather was perfect and the fish were active early and late in the day. Not a ton of takes but those that did were nice. Beautiful river I will be back again.

All fish were caught on the lower river between Wagonblast and the Water Tower. Fish were taken orange/black flies.

Ran into a rattler at Boxcar and The corral hole. Not big, but big enough....

YOUGHZA...nice fish! I've never fished the Deschutes lower than Trout Creek...looks like a place to go explore.
