I call bull on Steve making time in his busy schedule. Since he ain't working, it was likely a shooting trip, hunting trip or travel trailer trip that he had to put off for a bit. He just had to work you into the schedule.

Sounds like you guys had a good day. That camo fly can be magic. Wish I could make it over / up there more often. It is a long day for the guy from the south end.

Cool outing guys and gal. Me I didn't make it in from prior days outing with my bro, disc golfing, firing range, video gaming and poker until 5:00 AM so, Chef I didn't make it out. Wish I had though, I would have loved to meet everyone. I will fish with you all soon. Islander I'm sure I've fished with you at least once, Dry Falls outing a few years back? And as often as I've fished Lone, I'm sure I've seen you out there. Mumbles, a missed opportunity for me, next time or the time after that or...

Sounds like it was a damn good day to be out there with friends :D , been dying to test out my pontoon float...same basic shape as Chef's but green and orange without the oars. If budget and weather permits...maybe I can get out sometime this weekend to Lone. Happy to hear there are some good results with the fishing there, and hope to hook into at least one soon! Fantastic report from everyone, keep them coming!

    Regards,

    Will R. Everett, WA.

I actually had a "schedule" yesterday unfortunatly. The wife had a massive migraine so I had to run some errands and then play nurse-maid most of the day. I would have liked to fish as it was some of the best weather we have had in a while. I figured since Ed was traveling all that way for the first time to Lone I should at least "help a brotha out". Glad you guys got into some fish. Yesterday was the day to go, this morning we woke up to a couple inches of snow.

Hope the wife is feeling better. I've never had a "massive" migrain but I have had a few in the past - pretty debilitating.

Started the day with the type six it was way too hard for me to control around the bank and switched to a sink tip. It it a pretty shallow lake.

Yep, I usually use a Type 3 this time of year but if the fish are showing, a clear intermediate will work just as well.

When I fish Lone, if I fish streamers or without a indicator (which is rare) I use an intermediate stillwater. The line is easy to control and when bank fishing you can control the depth much easier.

I might be up for Saturday if the sister and brother in law are not able to make it over from Walla Walla.
