mine can take almost and hour to tie so.....
I'm guessing Chris meant one more person, so we can get this baby started/pick a due date. I don't think he meant 1 more fly...I may be wrong though.
I did a few src herring flatwings on a size 6 that turned out nice.
Aprox. 25min each.
WowPat, those herring look great. I bet that gill plate really comes through when they are wet.
The body braid shows through quite well.I typically like orange, red or pink.
I will join if there is still space.
Here are a preview of my flies. 3 feather R.L.S. Herr Blues, tied on 1/0 SC15 hooks, total length 4.5 inches. They are a great herring imitation for late summer actively feeding coho.
What is the due date ?
Oh yeah, due date.... What'd you guys think? I'll throw mine together after work the next couple days.
Should we shoot for before or after Xmas? If everyone gets them in the mail by the 16th we can have them to open on Christmas morning.
