This spring I'll be taking my first fly fishing trip that requires me to fly with 2 or 3 rods and reels. If anyone wants to unload a fly rod travel case, let me know.

Marty, that calls for rod tubes/cases of 31" or 31.5 inches. A regular (1-5/8"?) tube can hold two rods, with one butt end up, the other down. A 2.5 or 3" tube can probably hold four rods.

I'd recommend making a case from 3 or 4 inch thin wall PVC with a screw cap. I've made a couple for 3 and 4 piece rods and love them. Super easy to wash down and dry quick.

Have two generic Sage aluminum tubes; one is a single-rod and the other a multi-rod, that look like this:

Also have several different rod-specific Sage tubes if interested...

Try to Fong a fishpond Dakota. You can literally put ALL of your FF gear in it safely.
