No problem Jason. Will put you down.

I'll be sitting down to make the menu this weekend. I think I'll do that scramble I did the last mornin last year one morning. Everyone seemed to love it for being something I tossed together with leftovers. And of course Saturday nights feast will be identicle to last years. Think that'll be the yearly ritual Saturday dinner for the Hoh down.

St Patricks Day meal at the Hoh Down?????? Plus 2 week warning

Soooooooo. What would you guys think about me possibly doing a traditional (or Americanized) Irish meal. Say maybe an Irish stew, some rolls (maybe soda bread, not sure yet), and of course some corned beef and cabbage?

Also, we're down to the 2 week warning when I go to buy up most of the food. Only stuff I'm buying at last minute is literally the Ribeyes. So if you still want in on the food, I need to know ASAP via message here and/or payment.

I just want to make sure everyone would eat it. And yes next morning I'd make corned beef hash. :)

Sounds great Jerry. Thats what I did last year. Corn beef brisket for dinner then hash in the morning.
Can't remember who all was there last year. I know Davie and a few others.

Jerry, anyone that bitches about any of your meals deserve to eat stale hostess donuts, beef jerky and instant coffee. They also don't deserve the warmth of the fire or seat in a boat. Sorry for being so extreme, but holy crap man, your food is amazing and you work HARD providing it for us. Anyone not grateful for that...well, maybe the social festivities of the Hoh Down are not for them.

Well, most of the meals are planned. Just figured since it's St Patty's Day, may be fun to have something appropriate. I do work hard, but I enjoy what I do. Just figured since you all are paying, want to make sure it's a consensus thing on this meal. If we're good, then I'll plan on doing something like corned beef and cabbage with some sort of stew on the side (maybe even a Guinness stew). :)

Sounds good to me. I'm bringing 5 gallons of Oatmeal Stout and 5 gallons of Irish Red ale I brewed specifically for drinking with corned beef on St. Patrick's day before this Hoh Down thing came along.
