Already got 5 tied. Fairly traditional look with one or two non-traditional materials - you'll like.

Guys, check out this email by Joel:

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    That's great!
Here's the way it works.... Send the flies to me at the address below. Please include the tyers name, address, email and signature with each fly. If a material list is available send it along as well. It's nice to have all that on one piece of paper but I'll take it anyway I can get it.
I'll photograph the flies and post them on my web site. The flies will be listed with the tyers name. When the flies are donated the receiving group will be listed as well.

If you are a member of a group or know of a group that would be interested in auctioning off a few flies to benefit wild fish please let me know. Right now the plan is fairly loose but I will develop a system to get these flies out where they will do the most good. Each year I will do a poster of the flies collected that year. I'll post information about the posters on my site and the Facebook page.

Look for more information in the next issue of NW Fly Fishing..... and on my site as it becomes available.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

sounds like this will be fun. when time comes for the swap, have all details ready as Joel requested.

Thanks everyone. THis will be the first swap I host and hoping for it to be a fun one for everyone.

OK, I'm done, where do I send em?

Just got a new HMH tube fly setup, so these are my first tube flies, ala Green Butt Skunk, complete with Gami hooks, I'm hoping for feedback and tips on improving them.

Hey everyone, so looks like everybody is busy so would everyone be ok with extending the due to possibly late March or even early April?
I'm going to be back and forth from NYC for awhile but I can find some time to tie. If everyone is comfortable with late March, after the Hoh Down, let's plan on doing that.

I'm cool with that but I'm also cool with tying up my full set this weekend or next weekend. I'll have some dedicated fly tying night time at home.

It would be nice to have all these skunks for the Hoh Down.

Agreed on finishing before the Hoh down. 9 flies just don't take all that long to tie.

    Guys,

My 8 fishables are done..I say 8 and fishable because this is my first attempt at this and my offering is not worthy of the contribution to the fundraising cause..not worthy and would be embarrassed based on what I've seen and what you guys can dress. They are not worth mounting but I would fish em..and will with confidence next month. Will get em in the mail on Monday.

After sleeping on this post, my ninth tie is drying. I thought wth. Nom, it'll be the one that is barbed..all the others have been pinched for c/r use.
