I'm thinking the scope is a wee bit overkill... just saying.
Yup. Some smart attorney could argue that the scope alone makes it an offensive as opposed to a defensive weapon which would be critical if you're claiming self defense.
Plus all you can see through that scope is a mass of hair as the grizzly chomps on you. Open sights all the way.
That's an Atlantic Salmon...
I must have missed something. Who is losing their mind?
Now we're talkin'! Can we get a half dozen Griz up around Concrete?
perhaps a few to work the Hwy 6 & Hwy 26 corridors in OR...
yeah, motherfuckers, I want my fucking fleece hat back!!!! I hope it was worth it!!!!
I think they should relocate some to gas works park & Stanley park as well. They would be a great way to control the tweakers !
Maybe the introduced bears could be genetically modified to take care of the tweakers that have taken over the Nooksack valley.
But they are likely very poor forage for the bears - scrawny and poorly fed. The bears are an endangered species after all.
The idea is for them to make up for the lack of quality with quantity.
It would be a lot simpler to legalize baiting and shooting tweakers.
A few conservation groups released a new short film about grizzly bear restoration today, and how it's being done successfully in NW Montana through science and community collaboration, which is a likely blueprint for restoration in the North Cascades.
A lot more info on this, and ways to get involved at: http://www.northcascadesgrizzly.org/faq/
