Ok get your popcorn out. This could be an interesting discussion.

Who should be in a northwest 2 handed rod hall of fame and why?

Bob Stroble? Harry Lemire? Mike Kinney? Jimmy Green? Anyone got any others? Salmo?

    Nice, Kerry

Ed Ward (Riveraddict), Mike Kinney (mkinney) and other active posters on internet...

    Why?
Because they are dedicate in two handed casting education, love to share their knowledge, even through the internet...

Among many others I think Bill McMillan. Champion of wild fish. And to a lesser degree sporting ethics.

I watched Harry Lemire rise a bunch of fish last week and saw him fishing the Snake with a single hander. The guy is one of the best. From what he told a friend, he never fishes a two hander.

    1.) Robert Meiser.

2.) The Smoker- random dude that I run into yearly up here. Catches fish and smokes heavily. Nice guy. I never remember his name. He's a legend in my mind.

Harry says he doesn't fish a 2 hander anymore. The reason he would be included in a "Hall of Fame" is he and Bob Stroble were a couple of the firsts to use 2 handed rods for steelhead and also help start the developement of the so called Skagit lines.
