Why? Hoping to have all those herring eggs for yourself?
I informally surveyed ~100m of intertidal at LP on Tuesday. Observed no eggs. I did observe a whole lotta commotion offshore last Saturday. Seals, sea lions, porpoise, birds were all getting in on the fun.
I wonder if this will turn out to be a long-term expansion, or if some fish were diverted from regular known spawning areas, or what?
No, I'll share those eggs... There are more deserving fish out there than I.
I was just wondering where all the cutthroat went around Brace Point and south. Haven't touched a fish the last two times I've been out. I'll have to venture farther north.
