    Anyone finding any action for humpies? Looking to go out around Tacoma this weekend and scout around. Maybe a few early ones!

    Not to thread hijack but when is the best time for humpies near port townsend are? Mid august?

    nerka, check the hatchery reports for Hoodsport and then you will know when the humpies are in. They have to be biting at Neah Bay first as they start down the strait.

    Will be off limits to fishing this season... we can't be trusted to regulate ourselves while our state govt. is on "time out" for bad behavior.

    They shut down fishing, THAT is when we do a "fish-in" in protest. As for pinks, you'll see it here first, believe me.
