Unfortunately, Rhodies is moving. That store is up for sale and Rhodies plans to move somewhere on the Sammamish Plateau. Very disappointing as it was somewhat of a traditional stop for me either fishing or snowboarding.

Yes, hit Zimorino's order the Italian Nachos. Good to hear the Union Club is still going. I can't remember how many times I had to go back the next morning for my truck.

Big Walleys, on the south end of banks lake (coulee city) getting close to a little to far off I90,but always good food to be hadthere. Plus the tackle/liquor stores attached to each end are an added bonus

One of the most useful threads I've ever read, including anything I've ever posted.

Bob's cafe in Moses Lake. Lunch/dinner are nothing to write home about, but their breakfasts are insanely good. Diner food, nothing too out of the box, but I've never had better sausage gravy.

Back in the day the M&M in Butte was the spot - classic greasy spoon diner/bar, with a bit of a shady thing happening alongside. As a kid there was nothing better than getting breakfast at the M&M and having a hooker sitting on one side of you, and a super drunk broken down cowboy sitting on the other.
It fell on hard times, got somewhat trendy (which if you had been there in the old days was a bit of a surprise) and changed hands at least once if not more in recent years so I'm not sure if it is still open and if so how it is. I haven't been back for about 5 years, but if you're heading through Butte it might be worth checking out.

Moses Lake Dairy Queen. My brother-in-law owns it. Tell him I sent you and ask for a free meal. You won't get it, but he'll appreciate your patronage.

Joe Peak and his wife, the owners, both lost their battles with terminal illnesses a while back.
Not sure if anyone has reopened the business.

Best chicken (in the northern US anyway) is double front in Missoula. I'm surprised there's no mention of Dick's for a burger in Spokane. I also nominate Fat Burger at Northern Quest Casino, order the cheeseburger with the fried egg, reminiscent (although not even comparable, and to those of you that know what I'm talking will agree with me 100%) of a Dixon burger from the Dixon bar on the Flathead River about 40 miles north of missoula, bar is still there but different owners, and even if they make burgers it wouldn't be the same.
Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula is decent for flapjacks, Ruby's cafe is also a decent breakfast in Missoula. I would have to vote the best breakfast however to the Oxford bar on North Higgins.

Some good places for big breakfasts:
The Palace at 4th and Main in Ellensburg
Frank's Diner in Spokane (Downtown on 2nd and north end off Newport Hwy).
Hogan's in Spokane off 29th near Trader Joes

    Quick stops:
Jennika's Coffee House Ellensburg for breakfast sandwiches
Breakfast burritos at the Shell station in Ephrata and Ken's Korner 76 station in Mattawa (fresh made, no joke!)
