    Enough said!

Just got done watching " A river Runs Through It"

A story of me and my brother. We are bonded by fly fishing, one is different than the other in many ways. We are bonded by the water and how the river flows through each and every rock, current and rain flow. Each one has a view, technique, and fly not like the other one but we seam to still think alike.

Is it our father? our mentor? or just we think alike? who knows, but one thing I know, the water is not the same without him. Our father has passed, but together we bring him from above to us everyday we fish together. Our father brought us together loving the outdoors.

Without you dad, your love, and patients, I would not have what I have. The love of outdoors and a brother who loves it as much as I do!

    Enough said!

Couldn't have said it any better Bro. Well if I was honest, I couldn't of said it at all. You have that skill, I didn't. Also you did kick my ass today fishing too. You are the best, brought tears to my eye's. Love you!!

We were double handing, but it was 5 to 25 feet. But what a blast. Good to have my brother back in this State.

You know. I know that this movie "ruined flyfishing". But I love the movie. But I don't love it because it's a flyfishing movie. I love it for the love of family and the bonding we had while fishing. It is a great story if you read the book. But the problem is too many use it as a benchmark of what a flyfisherman should be. Or they try to get that feeling the book is generating by buying a flyrod and hitting the water. They just don't get that it's so much more then that.

I should add. I too am haunted by waters. There are spots I go to that were my "Dad's slot" to fish first. Always get an eerie feeling when I come up to them. Or whenever I get to the cabin. Funny how I feel my Dad down there (his ashes are spread in front of the cabin). For only being 43, I've lost all my fishing partners I grew up with. I truly know his feeling. Now I'm breaking in new ones (my son being one). Just wish he caught the bug sooner, before my Dad passed.
