For some reason I do not think I will ever be able to tie one of these on a #32 Mustad hook...
but I need a few...trying to buy some somewhere to no avail...I would think they would be expensive?
Wow, those are small. I'm not sure I'd be able to tie a size 32, even with my young eyes! I don't know where you could buy something like that, but I have to ask: What exactly would you be trying to catch with those?
I just placed an order from the FlyShack...for #28#Griffiths gnat . and #30 Olive Midge dry...10 each
they are "substantially larger than the images above...the tiemco #32 is a lot larger than the Mustad #32
What on earth would you be fishing for with those?
If you buy these flies, do they send a kid along with the order to pick them from the box and tie them on?
Whatever you hook, the fish will look ginormous...whatever its actual size.
He's going to need these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Insten-2...tch-Repair-Jeweler-Jewelry-Appraisal/34531079
Wow, at $8.99 they must real quality magnifiers too.
Those are tiny! Personally, I wont tie anything smaller than a #22. That's just my preference. Those flies are cool to see, though!
with my eyes, tying one of them would be a total waste of time
there are very few if any materials that are proprtionate to the hook size
What size tippet?
8X, .003...1.75 lb breaking point
I tie down to #22. But I use those Orvis Big eye hooks. #22 has a size #18 eye.
