OK, I'll delete the reference to 'dude'.

So, we (I believe there are a few others additionally to me) are still waiting for more detail regarding your comment " . . . but it is possible to fish cutts and not catch/target many salmon."

I really would like to know how to fish for cutts and not catch/target salmon when both fish may occupy the same habitat. Seriously. I don't know how that's done, and it appears some of the others participating here don't either.

    Elucidate, elaborate, and educate, please.

I'd love to chime in again but I have dinner to cook. How about fresh salmon, small, but tender and bright with some asparagus? I do have to keep the wife happy, and she loves to eat fish, so some do make it home from time to time. I'm in a pretty good opening day mood. Sorry if my last few days worth of post brought anyone down but from the looks of it some seemed to have enjoyed the dialog.

FWIW today I had something break off my only large pink and white clouser. I fished a olive backed sand lance imitator that got a short strike and then I put on an all black clouser, mid sized, with just a couple of strands of that green irredescent flashy crap.

I hope others found a way to a boat launch or beach today.

Speaking strictly from experience, I would respectfully suggest resolving the issue and shaking hands before partaking from the "flask!!" As the "Shadow" used to say, "........he could cloud men's minds and cause them to be blind" (to their own bulls__t?)!

If you think it's toxic now, wait until ya mix in a bit a' booze to the equation !

    Jus' anudder newbie...:)

To the extent he can't step up to his assertion " . . . but it is possible to fish cutts and not catch/target many salmon" and actually describe how it's done, it appears Hooker is, as some say, all hat and no cattle.
