In Praise Of Ostrich Herl

    While tying a nymph pattern for a different thread, I used ostrich herl at the thorax. As all the action for a nymph is at the thorax area, I forgot that ostrich herl is a great material for using at that point of the pattern. With all the new materials offered these days, sometimes it's easy to forget the "old" materials... such as ostrich herl. The stuff not only looks cool, it works well to fool fish.
