Announcing The 17th Annual Kitsap Fly Anglers Holiday Party The president, Kitsap Fly Anglers, invites you to join her in celebration of the season at Island Lake Park Community Center, Silverdale, Wednesday, 2 January 2008, 6:00 P.M. We’re going to try it again! We will get started about an hour before what would be our regular meeting time (6:00 P.M.). Mr. Dave and Mr. "Ray will be providing the music again this year. Show up about 5:30 or 6 o'clock with a can or two (or ten) of food for the food bank and in exchange we will give you a ticket for the door prize. Bring a side dish, your significant other, kids, friends, whomever. Before dinner is served at 7:00, you can scoop up a bunch of tickets for the drawings that will commence at 8:00. The proceeds from these drawings support Club activities like the tying contest, conservation projects, the Holiday party and help pay for the excellent speakers and guests that come talk to us throughout the year. The Club will supply the turkey, ham, gravy, vegetable, dressing, bread, and soft drinks (B.Y.O.B). Then after an ample supper, you settle in with a glass of port and a slice of pie in the grand hall in front of the fire to participate in the titillating drawings and silent auction. A guided float trip with Dennis Dickson, Books and fly tying materials, fly tying tools and a vise, and personally tied flies by the millions. Speaking of which ,please remember to tie at least a dozen of your favorite secret, killer, can't miss patterns and bring them to the shindig. Please put them in a plastic box or container of some type if you can and consider making up a little note to include with your flies that has your name and pattern names or information on the pattern.
