Lake fishin’ dream stick?

    Any rod that you enjoy casting that has a sensitive tip to better feel light takes.

    On the other hand if you use a bobber you can forgo the sensitive tip and just stare at the bobber all day.

    My Sage xp 697 from 2000. The 9.5 footer with the fighting butt. One of the best rods ever built...

    My "sit down" sticks are the SP's and the SLT's, I like the way they handle sinking lines.

    St. Croix Ultra 9'6wt. I have two of these and saw one at Sportsmans Warehouse on sale for $200. I have a whole bunch of these Ultras and they are great rods and when you consider the price they can't be beat.

    I also have a 10' 7 wt Scott A2. Like that rod a lot as well.

    Scott A2 9' 6wt. Great rod to play big fish.
    Loop multi in 9'6" 6wt for really strong wind
    Scott S3 or S4 in 9ft 5wt. AWESOME all around stick...On my wish list
