Trying to decide between those lakes and a first timer's trip to Pass next weekend. Fishin' Fri night and Sat day. I'm told that the water temps and bugs are running behind on Lenice/Nunally this year so maybe they're the better bet but don't see any recent trip reports. Any truth to that?
If you're coming over the mountains to fish the basin, I'd focus on bass, carp, and panfish for the rest of the summer. I walked into Nunally two weeks ago and caught a bunch of pumkinseeds but didn't see any trouts. The few guys out on the lake reported no trout caught.
Seems like there have been some pretty favorable Pass Lake reports lately if you want to fish for trout.
Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback. I'll report back after the trip next weekend.
