Line Suggestions for Echo TR

#1
Im getting a Echo TR 12'6 6WT for christmas, any line suggestions for this Rod?

This Rod will be used on the Ronde swinging along with the occasional trip to the West Side to fish some S rivers.

Thanks for the pointers fellas

6:59 AM Huh... Sounds like someone was snooping under the Christmas tree!
I think a Scandi Compact would be a good choice, especially if swinging on
the Ronde would be your primary fishing. Airflo calls for a 480 gr. for that rod.
Here's their line chart.

Rio and Poppy at the Red Shed also have charts as well.
I have lines up to 420 for my switch then jump to 540 or would let you
try some out. The shop in the valley is pretty good about helping to
get you dialed in especially for the Ronde.
Good Luck

Forgot to mention that this is a head so you will need a running line.
A factory line is good for swinging but I've gone to an old WF7/8 that
I cut the tip off and welded a loop. You'll lose some distance but gain
some ability to mend if you should ever choose to run a nymph setup
without changing lines.
