    Hey Anil,

What about a scandi line and grain recommendation? :)

Also, do you think opst line length is fine on the 11' 11"? Or would you get something with slightly longer head like airflo scout skagit.

For scandi work, look at the Airflo Rage head - it's a skagit casting wind cutter line w/ scandi like light presentation for polyleaders or tippet for dries...

Here is our 2018 IMX Pro Spey Chart. Let me know if you have any questions about line pairing or rods. I would really look at the SA Skagit heads and Scandi Lites as they are my favorite short heads on the market now. There will be a big calling for them this up coming year.

The 450 is the best. SA should have a larger grain SA Scandi lite coming next year for summer run work. The 61111 pairs very will with a 360 Scandi Lite. I chop all of mine and made them into heads. I think they are the best on the market to date.

The OPST heads work great. OPST, SA Lites, and Scout all cast amazing. Just keep everything nice and compact and they will fly.

See "Longstick's" post for Scandi recommendations. As for the length of the OPST heads, I don't have any problem with them on rods up to about 12'6". Some people do and can't get used to the shorter head length, many people (myself included) love the ability to throw HUGE flies in VERY tight spaces.
