Tuesday a.m. report: Meh.
Has anyone else noticed a slow down in the bite? trying to put a finger on it, but not thinking of any one solid reasons for such a decrease in fish productivity.
Slowdown? Didn't think it's started yet! .......
Pulse, wave, or whatever you wish to call it. I don' t think this is anything out of the ordinary.
Like Larry said, it's still early and the real action hasn't started yet. The bite seems to be off with the resident silvers. I was out last Friday and it was decent though.
For me, at least, adult rezzie fishing seem seems to peak in mid-July and then there is a bit of of lull until the ocean coho return.
They move around, so one hot day might lead to a skunk the next day.
It is the exhibition season right now for coho. Once the ocean fish start to arrive, it is play-off time.
Just remember to fish like a Beaver and not like a Husky when the coho play-offs arrive .
Hey now.....we are still 36 days till college football kicks off and you're already taking shots at the Dawgs!
I think this demands a fish off where Stone is required to use purple/gold clousers while Dime has to use orange/black clousers. Let the fish decide.
I would use my Carolina blue over white Clousers and dominate.
Anyone make it out this morning? I was going to but had a late night. I'll probably hit it tomorrow. Oh, and I like the fish-off idea!
I've fished with both DimeBrite
whats two times zero?
I think Obiwan would school them both.
Does this mean that I should put some popcorn on the burner? I'm too far away to get into this fishery, but I love watching a good throwdown.
Dead again this morning. Saw a couple hookups on the boats but not much action out there either.
