I've been fishing lakes and rivers on this side of the cascades for 15 years and have always heard the "rumors" of Brown Trout caught here and there, most people (I think) confuse large native cutthroats with browns when they catch them.
I was just glad to have finally caught one here (other than at Pass Lake)!
I'll be going back down there in a week or 2.
Does anyone have a good fly for the green drake nymphs, all of the ones I have seem way too small, also my "Green Drake" Dry's are way too green and way too small.
The best dry I have is about 2" long and yellow... thanks to who-ever dropped it in the parking lot at Merrill last year!
