I fished Methow today, Caught a beautiful Bull trout, I also had 1 LDR , the steelhead went aerial after
about 1 minute pull upstream. I fished upstream starting from upper Burma to Gold creek, The river was getting pretty well pounded. Kelly fish-Bull trout-260019.jpg

I'd take that Bull over a Hatchery Steelhead any day of the week.

Me and my son were there that day also. It sure was getting pounded all right. I did manage to get one hatchery fish while nymphing. We swung a couple of spots, but no tugs. Fished Sunday with Nate McDunnough, he worked hard and put us into fish. My son landed two, both big, wild fish. I landed 3 of 4, one a hatchery fish. I brined them last night and they are on the smoker right now. Nate was awesome, we had a great time.
