When I use to live in Bozeman the highlight of my morning paper was the police reports. My favorite: Cows were reported to be running loose in the road. By the time deputies arrived no cows were found. How fast do cows move????

No, it's how fast do the cops move.

Montana is a cool place... unlike Seattle, they actually notice when someone is running around in public stark-raving naked. Hell, even the cows are cool in MT.

In -20 degree weather a naked person running about would get noticed just about in any community

I read a lot 'on line' and this is the first place I start in the early AM: http://ravallirepublic.com/

Amazing what comes up in print in this 'small town' newspaper (Hamilton, MT)

I'd guess that at minus 20-degrees, all of him might not be very noticeable . . .

The Skagit Valley paper, which has very few redeeming qualities, has started running a police blotter column. It is the thing I read first, sometimes the only thing.
