I'm going to be up in Moses Lake in November, and it seems like I once saw a thread saying the trout fishing was pretty good off a particular beach then. I searched for the thread, but couldn't find it. Now I'm not sure if this was some sort of deranged dream hanging out in my head, or I really saw it somewhere. Anybody know about fishing Moses Lake in November?
Moses Lake in November? You really don't see anyone fishing that lake for trout that late. In the potholes, you'll see some walleye fishers and a ton of duck hunters, but that's about it. IMO, your best bet for November in the ML area is Rocky Ford. I believe Beda lake is open year around, but it was killed this fall by the WDFW, so no-go there.
Yeah, think my memory is a bit off. Maybe it was Potholes, or just a short circuit in the brain. Used to fish Rocky Ford years ago, but the extremely annoying guy I usually fish with always out fishes me about 10:1 there, so now I won't fish it.
Screw the fishing in Moses Lake... Nothing but carp there now and the water will be dropped to protect docks. Go duck hunting!
