Yep, Chuck Berry... My Ding-a-Ling
Not all country-ish
sorry, i hope i cleaned up some of the mess with the vids!
The Southern Aurora was late again
As I waited at central to take you home
Winking spinning sparkling lights on our flat earth
You talk about the old groundling ways
Where the suburbs summer pulse and play in wrinkled sand and
never never never neverland
I get home I see them drive down
I look out and see those lines and lines and lines of swell and
Coolangatta, what's the matter?
Paradise, and Surfer's Worse and flashing lights and real
With one last wave
Ahhh, get up and run
'Cause there's a beach lies quiet near the open sea
And a carpark lay streched where the bindis used to be
As Jojo was trying to do, I think we shouldn't post new lyrics until it has been established that someone guess correctly.
I heading out to do some chores. BE back after while. This is fun. Brings back some good memories.
its gotta be an Oils tune
"Raisin' it up
Waxen it down
In a little white box
That I can sell uptown"
Ok, if Eric got it correctly then @Eric Johnson you post the next lyric! And everyone can guess that one. You have to get one right before you post a lyric. Would this work in making it easier to figure where we are? Also remember rule #5 not to be so obscure so all folks have a chance to post lyrics.
If someone isn't here to verify that the guess is correct THEN you can confirm by checking online. OK?
Movin' to Montana soon...
Gonna be a dental floss tycoon
A flaw in the rules. People aren't always going to be here to post the next lyric... hahaha... Proceed as you will folks! Screw the rules.
Harry Chapin.. I wanna learn a love song...
Possibly start a whole new thread where just one gets asked, then answered. When answered correctly with both title and artist..., then that person gets a go??
I wouldn't classify Dave Alvin as country. California roots rock and folk. Look up his song, 'fourth of July'.
Dave Alvin is at the Tractor Tavern February 15th.....highly recommend seeing the show if you've never listened to him.
