Welcome! I think you'll find WA offers plenty of opportunity....
You and I fished a lot of the same water. I also moved here from Acton, ME (by way of a two year stint NC). The West Branch (Chewonki campground below Ripogenous), Grand Lake Stream, the Magalloway, Rapid, Kennebec, Rangeley Lakes, and the Wild were my stomping grounds. You'll find a lot of things that worked there work just as well here.

Welcome to the site. I used to spend a lot of vacation time in Maine. Beautiful state.

    Welcome!

Sounds like you have awesome fisheries up there. Might find myself up there someday visiting my cousin. May hit you up for some info if I do.

And Say hi to Mike Salk on WEEI (edit: oh I guess that's boston...whoops...) Even though I heard he's not doing too well up there. Loved him down here.

    Again, Welcome :)

    Thanks Jeff,,,,

Yes I would be glad to help you out with logistics if you head this way.
As far as Mike Salk goes.... he had his work cut out for him from the get go following "The Big O" Glenn Ordway.
Bostons sports fan base is a tough crowd for sure that do not like change .....
WEEI The Big Jab show is another good one to listen to if you get it out there...
And Felger and Maz show is pretty good and funny too...

I will be digging out my Peak vise and boxes this week and will post some picts when I do.
Been way to long since I have tied....
I have the fever bad.... and this time of year I am always thinking new flyrods new reels new flylines.

Looks like I will be trying the new Airflow Super Dry lines this season on my 4 and 5 wts....
And a new 4wt is in the cards soon too ... just cant decide if it will be a Sage or an Orvis...

    Thanks again gang ....
