Well im new to this particular forum. I live in Puyallup and have never touched a fly rod a day in my life. Grew up in Indiana originally and lived in Kansas for six years. Been in Washington for a year now, Air Force, and love it so far. My main vice is duck hunting but I always fished when I was in Kansas, largemouth mostly. Now that i am in the PNW and have an opportunity to learn the art of fly fishing i feel like i would be doing myself a disservice not to. I cant spend all summer thinking about when i can shoot birds and busting clays(although busting clays was my past time last summer and will be one of my big ones this offseason as well) so i am going to give her a go. I will more than likely just lurk this site for a bit as i have no fly fishing advice or opinion of tactics whatsoever but didnt want to chime in on topics and have no one recognize the handle either. Well, looking forward to learning anything i can, not to include spots, about the sport. Thanks, Aaron.
