Hi all. So I swing closer to the inside of the turn to avoid the nasty looking sweeper across the river. As the turn straightens, I see in front of me the head of a perfect bar and a great set of deep pools and riffles with undercut banks in front of it, not to mention a perfect tailout. Wipe the splatter off my foggy polarizers and quickly scan it for unmistakable torpedoes. Ahhhh..... Pull over, one stroke. Gently backing onto the gravel. Oars, bag, rope, rod, strip, strip. triple haul, slight twist, poof, tap the limb on opposite bank, like a fighter knocked out, the fly flips over backwards into a nice drift. I just hope you like my presentation. So I'll give it a try. The big leak.
