I'm selling six pieces of thrift store art. Wife says all must go.

    Any reasonable offer accepted.

iagree  Have you thought of paying someone to take them off your hands? Given that, those prices seem reasonable. :clown:

I'm shocked, shocked!, at the disregard you people show for our local artisans.

I'll have you know that I'm this close to selling the angry bear to a woman pending approval of her husband.

Wow, you know as a guard at the King County Offender Detention Center my days are long and stressful and usually at the end of a week working four 12 hour days someone (read inmate) finds more than a few correctional contusions on their extremities. It is tough to wind down! But when I read about your fascinating art hobby well, it just opened a whole new world for me. I am going to start scouring the thrift stores of western washington hopping that I can find the quality treasures you have procured.

Have you ever thought about teaching a class in thrift store art appreciation?

No, no, no! You DON'T want to go there! If anyone catches you with that kind of stuff in your possession, the ACLU might accuse you of intent to commit torture. In these times of Abu Ghraib and such, you really don't want to give people the wrong idea. Can you imagine solitary confinement "decorated" with this stuff? You better not! :ray1:

Oh my God! this is a perfect seqway into a Sundance Film festival Movie.. say serious interviews with the artists giving there thoughts on what the picture meant to them. Sort of like a "dog show" documentary or something like that! Your descriptions had me laughing hard. thanks!
