You could have established territorial lines by closing your garage door. I don't see why people think it is so funny to shoot cats with air soft guns. Cat has no idea it did anything wrong, and shooting it with an air soft gun is probably not going to change that.

But hey, sounds like you had a lot of fun.

Live trap then spray the cat down with a hose to get the message across.

I am going to guess he has a fenced yard.

The shooting of animals in these situations is therapy for me. I have an issue and i make attempts to resolve it. I take measures to eliminate the problem. I feel good when i achieve my goal.

Wrong. That's not establishing territorial lines, that's just keeping the little shit out *while it's closed*.

And ya know what? Yes I feel satisfaction from having shot the little SOB in the ass. Ya know why? The sonofabitch pissed on my Simms G3s!!! And he hasn't been around since I put a welt on his ass (yet).

We'll see if it takes the first time. Rinse repeat? It will get the message that it needs to stay clear. Will it know exactly what it did wrong? No. Who cares? I don't. Long as it keeps its nasty territory marking ass off my property.

Feral cats, the scourge of all birds everywhere are treated with a single application of .25 cal "Cat Be Gone." Doesn't disturb near-by neighbors, surgically-accurate, effective . . .

Hey OMJ, I couldn't help but notice that your current avatar image might resemble the last thing a cat would see if you had just caught it pissing in your boots. :D

That was just before I left. Beautiful water up there on those creeks in the Sky basin. Still too high to be really good but I can see now in a month those are gonna be awesome. We both got a few nice little fish, though.

I don't know shite about modern guns but jeebus that is the most sophisticated air rifle I have ever seen. I didn't know such things existed. What is it and why is the end of the barrel thicker than the rest of the barrel?

FX Royale .25 caliber, pre-charged pneumatic air rifle. "Thing" on the end of the barrel is a barrel shroud. Supposedly helps stabilize the pellet; it does help support the barrel. All I know is that this piece is incredibly accurate.

Painted a German Shepard with blue krylon spray paint once for chasing our calves, never seen him again.

    Jim,
by chance was that f'n cat an orange tabby? My wife inadvertently left the garage door open one morning a few weeks back and one had the balls to enter the house and try to pester my son's cat. I chased his ass back into the garage, watching him trying to climb a window and fortunately for him, he found his way back out from where he came. Next time i'll be ready with my pellet rifle.

So what makes you think we'd welcome the kitty? Nobody I know has a toy gun; even their kids shoot real ones.
