Doesn't do much for the Blue boats either...Now if he just - still made YELLOW boats, but, Nooooo. People whined that they got too dirty.

A good thing there is MATCHING Flippers for you ......fashion conscious tooners

Are you going with the Lite Speed oars? Cause on his site, they have Yellow Blades and Red handles. Those ones Of Mikes where first tries...allot has happened since then.
But the Carbon Oars are like TYE DYE all sorts of colors.

As i Said. Dave told me that they only have the light speed oars with black stick, orange paddle and red handle grip. Thats the oars i Will get.

And i hope they work better than the standard aluminium oars

He dont have White or black paddle. So if i dont Like orange. Then i Will paint them black.

I upgraded to the heavier yellow sawyers with funky hawaiian blades...the oars are good but eh machining and quality of the screws is average at best. Probably will be returning them for the lightspeed soon...

i have the Greatful Dead tie dyed Sawyers for the X5. You are correct on the screw inserts, but for the framed boats those thing rock. Now for the stock 2pc. aluminum oars on the Rampages, Renegades, etc. Like Blue mentioned those are for the portability feature- but you can't please all the people all the time. I have no problem using them with my Renegade. They work. I'm going to get the longer ones since I don't fly to fish. I guess Dave could start putting the litespeed oars with the boats, but it would jack up the price of the boats.
