I usually float and fish a Columbia or Snake River trib for fall steelhead, but with the low returns this year I'm thinking about a new destination.

    WWYG?

Steamboat inn or one of the campgrounds on the 138 to fish the N.U, or anywhere you can fish the Rogue

Im just teasing. But in all seriousness, numbers are really bad. I am trout fishing for at least another month or so.

Skeena sounds just as bad as everywhere else this year. The Tyee Test Fishery numbers have been VERY low.

True, but that's still more steelhead than anywhere else.

You misunderstand me. I'm certainly heading north this year; I'm just trying to reduce the number of travel companions. :D

I'll smash them in the same place I usually do, but I bet I be more lonely when I am doing it.

I'd still go to the Grand Ronde.

Just spent a week on the Umpqua. I heard of one fish being caught. Fortunatly it was mine.

Actually i might head to the coast for coho fishing instead.
