Feeling bad for the Badgers. I thought they had it this season
I'm guessing it will end up
4. OSU. I go back and forth but
Our D is tough but OU scares me. It is just not a good match up. Baker is the real deal and can sling it all over the field. I guess the game plan is to run the ball, control time of possesion, and try to keep it out of his hands. Good thing is we are built for that. But I'd much rather be the #1 seed and face OSU/Bama.
Clemson will thump OSU.
In today's college play-off system conference champions games have essentially become a play-off game for consideration for the final four. Given that Alabama could not qualify for the SEC conference championship OSU should get the nod over "Bama".
While the bowl season is always entertaining am all ready looking forward to the 2018 season and the September first match up between Auburn and University of Washington.
which is why they need to go to an 8 team playoff, big 5 conference champs and 3 at large.
OSU had WAY to much speed for them, on both side of the ball. That d=line is gnarly as well.
OSU better start studying that Syracuse game tape real hard.
Well then what about OSU last year?
Alabama is essentially in the same position Ohio State was last year.
Ohio State made it in though Penn State was the Big 10 champs.
If Alabama makes it in this year over Ohio State, the Buckeyes should have nothing to bitch about.
The precedent was set last year that a none conference champion can get into the CFP.
If Ohio St gets in, I hope they get run over by Clemson again.
They need to expand the playoff format. I think it should be easier but they have to contend with the history of bowl games and so far that seems to be insurmountable. Anything less will always be flawed
I agree Jamie.
I’d like to see a 8 team play-off as well.
If they can do it in lower divisions, why not FBS?
Power 5 champs get in automatically with three at large teams, one of which may be a group of 5 team.
If it was this year UCF would get in.
My position on the 8 team playoff has evolved. I used to be all for it but look now what we are debating:
A two loss OSU team (one of those to Iowa by 30...inexcusable) vs Bama who is riddled with injury and got handled by Auburn. The three best teams are in. The 4th team is a toss up and I don't really care.
An 8 team playoff, at least this year, would water it down. In other years it maybe it is a different story.
And Natrez, one of our starting linebackers got arrested last night on weed charges. His second in two months.
He's probably gone. Fuck.
#4 is Bama
Love that OSU got left out.
This College Football Selection Show, for me anyway, is about as good as TV gets. Good stuff! Lots to think about......
Ohio State showed last night that they deserve to be in.
Alabama pays them off. Something stinks.
