I couldn't come up with a better name so this is the working title.

Before the wind came up on Saturday, I had a chance to try this little experimental guy. It's obviously a variation of a Pheasant Tail but with some significant changes. As I caught a number of trout with the dude before the wind beat me off the lake, I have high hopes for the pattern.

Hook: Daiichi 1110 or similar, sizes 12-14
    Thread: Black, 12/0
    Rib: Copper wire
Tail/body: 6-8 olive dyed pheasant tail fibers
    Shellback: Olive Scud Back
Thorax: 2-3 olive dyed ostrich herl
