Pass Lake 1/25/03

    Young gun and I went up to Pass Lake in an attempt to get hypothermia. We almost succeeded but couldn't stay in the water long enough because dinner was calling. Fished hard for about 7 hours. Gave chiros a cursory try but hope to do better at that next time. Spent the rest of the day trolling buggers and zonkers myself off a 13ft leader off a floating line and young gun off a full sinking line. Very very slow day of fishing, I think the eagle did all right though. I felt fortunate to land one nice 16" bow right before dark near the launch. He hit a black bugger size eight tied with barbell eyes. I am kind of liking that tie for that lake. Later
