i didnt get out until almost three, but there were plenty of fish rising sporadically. i caught a couple 12 inchers on olive hare's ear right below the surface. at about 5:00 i decided to knuckle down and give chrominids a good try, and got decent one on a black, glass bead head chrominid. its a crappy pic but the thing looks super bright almost like a SRC or baby steelhead, there wasnt a speckle or spot on the thing as far as i could tell.
there is a lot of those little silver bullets in there. there is a pretty wide variation on the fish in that lake due to different plants. some as fingerlings, others 8-10" and others bigger. they all have their own look.
