i was there on tuesday it was ok the bloom has cleared up some. But there was no chronmid action. I had to cast minnow patterns to the shore line and caught 4 browns. in the evening time there was some surface activity but the fish where small. Maybe the water temperture needs to warm up so there will be better hatches
I seriously stunk it up at Pass on Sunday. There was almost no wind - a first and the fish were crazy shy. Had a couple of hookups but nothing to net. I'm a sad panda sad stillwater fisherman. Of the 10-15 people fishing, i saw two bent rods all day.
I was there on Saturday. It wasn't too bad, sunny all day with decent winds. I only brought in two trolling. A ton of people out there without much action, one guy had it figured out but I'd say a week or two of warmth should do it good
As of yesterday, Skagit Health still had their Caution sign up. There were clumps of algae suspended in the water in the launch bay, but no large rafts of goo. Wind was moderate and surface wave action has probably kept the algae suspended.
I washed everything when I got back.
Mrs. G, I haven't been over to Cranberry this year, so I can't comment on it.
