I was there about a week ago and the fishing was very slow. It was cold on the day I fished with not even a glimpse of the sun. I caught one and lost another. The funny thing about this lake is that one day it can be terrible and the next day it could be great. That being said it is still a little too early to have exceptional fishing. Leech patterns work well this time of year.

does not take long for water to lose heat and takes much longer to gain it. two or three cold days and nights can undo a week of warm weather this time of year.
