Since beads are now all the rage and excepted by fly fishers as fly gear. How about the pink rubber steelhead worms the gear guys use. I'm thinkin I could jack them out of the water with my 9140 sage speyrod with a short skagit belly & a type 6 sink tip, I'm not saying that It would be pretty but I'll bet It would be effective!

WOW......... I just blacked out for a few minuets. That 9140 would be a fair trade for an Ugly Stick and Spinning Reel.

I don't use these things and I'm a fly Fisher. If you want to use all this shit just get a noodle rod and have a go at it.. Besides the pink MOAL is a good replacement for it.The rubber worm that is.

I've seen flyfishers use the pink rubber worm and have seen it work but I don't use 'em. I tie a pink tandem tube that looks very similar to a rubber worm. It's got a ton of movement and probably much easier to cast than the rubber worm.

Pictures are not that bad Brian, that pink tubing is wicked dirty. I'm thinking pink auger tail bass type worms like I think I've seen "Boom Roasted" fishing once or twice.
