I got on the water at 6am this morning. By 7am, I had landed one coho, lost three and had four follows. All on my pink coho popper. The fish were 5-6 pounds. It looked like everyone had one or two fish. I saw one 10-15 pound king landed and the checker told me one other was landed earlier. As usual, everyone was crowded into the north part of the point and there were a lot of boats very close in. I was the only fly fisher and found a lot of fly water that the gear guys can't fish effectively. Leland.
