I think you should be able to say what you want. Constructive debate is good for all of us. However, the price of admission is to engage in constructive dialogue. BTW, constructive dialogue does not include citing "proof" that doesn't actually prove your assertion.
My prediction from you: more cheap shots. It's the only game you got.
I had to take someone off ignore to read this thread but it was a good lunch time at work read. Back to ignore that member goes.
Thanks to all the usual guys that know what they are talking about and take the time to explain their points to the rest of us.
To all of the dudes, and dudettes working hard on the Skagit river issue. Thank you. I wish that I had more time to devote to the subject. Honestly, if there are little things that I can do please let me know.
I am consistently impressed with how easily FSA trolls you guys.
It has been nearly 3 weeks from this thread being posted and we are right back to where we started. Can we figure some shit out so we can start organizing how to most efficiently donate our time/cash? What are the current best options?
Ban FSA! Ban FSA!
Sure FSA is a PITA. But a number of people have doubts or questions about how and why there could or would be fishing where there are ESA listings. FSA's rants provide an opportunity to address issues that concern a lot of us. I don't think I'm being trolled. I post on these topics and off topics because I think I'm sharing information that forum members find useful or at least interesting. But yeah, it's easier to just ignore FSA, and I do that from time to time.
Currently looking into the matter of funding monitoring, but WDFW managers aren't the most responsive.
Maybe we should remember to bring the concept of "funding by the civilians" up at the next Commissioners meeting and see if a process can be set for any and all . . .
Gee, he dissappears when forum lurkers need him the most.
So do I. This forum allows any member to start their own thread and talk up a freaking blue streak.
You exhibit great patience in the face of mighty obstinate foes.
At this point in time we are actually uncertain of the departments ability to fund the monitoring that will be required. Before we commit to trying to help with funding, we need to find out where they stand.
I am heading to the next commissioners meeting in Port Angeles to ask about their commitment to fund the up coming season if we get federal approval.

Full agenda for the two days:
I will definitely be there for the Saturday meeting. If possible I'd like to attend the Friday meeting and speak before they discuss item #12:
12. 2018 Supplemental Capital Budget Request – Briefing and Possible Decision
Department staff will provide an informational briefing and request approval on the agency’s 2018 Supplemental Capital Budget.
For me this will be an over-nighter due to the ferry schedules. I would encourage any who can make it to do so. Here's an opportunity to jump in and make a difference.
Thank you, Wayne.
Ironically, FSA basically just banned Jeremy Floyd.
Something has come up and I won't be making it to the commissioners meetings. I have sent them an email and put in a call (unreturned) and would encourage someone to make the meeting if possible.
I really think you should give salmo another chance.
Hadn’t looked in on this thread in several days but just got caught up this afternoon. I’m starting to wonder if FSA is possibly a pedagogical internet alter ego of Salmo G? Sure, he typically posts snarky opinions completely devoid of any scientific grounding, but his mindless drivel consistently elicits an amazing amount of interesting information from Salmo. So, in some weird way, I need to thank FSA for his contributions! Thanks to Salmo G’s patience of Job, we ironically all get a lot smarter due to FSA's endless trolling.
