The river is low and dropping so wading is easy right now. I fished for about two hours this morning and managed six to the net plus a handful that were kind enough to release themselves. All healthy adult rainbows 11-14". Two were on a size 12 stonefly dry and four were caught subsurface on a gold ribbed hares ear size 16. I forgot to bring cranefly patterns, and of course there are lots of those big bugs in the air. Hoppers are still out too, so If you want to fish dries just about anything will work right now.
